Fine Boring Tools & Precision Boring Heads

Fine boring tool is a sizing operation, not a stock-removal one — the head has to hold a diameter to a few microns and repeat it on the next part. WLB heads and bars use the same damping principle as the rough boring range, so the finishing cut stays quiet and the adjustment holds.

Type 01

Bridge Fine Boring Head

Ø150–362 mm. Bridge head with two fine boring cartridges — adjustable under load for diameter and taper correction on large housings.

Type 02

Shank-Type Fine Boring Bar (Integral)

Ø33–152 mm, L/D 7 and 10. One-piece damped body on a BT50 taper with a micrometer-adjusted cartridge seat. Fig A and Fig B refer to the two body forms.
