DRILLING / WVT SERIES

WVT Modular Drill System

Build a drilling setup with a reusable WVT drill body and a replaceable carbide cutting head. Start with the hole requirement, then confirm the body and head combination for your application.

WVT is part of Winvera’s modular drilling range. Body length, head selection and coolant details depend on the exact configuration.

01 / THE SYSTEM

How WVT Works

The WVT system separates the reusable drill body from the cutting head. The body provides the shank, reach and head connection; the carbide head provides the cutting edges. Select both as a matched system.

Compared with a solid carbide drill, the head is a separate replaceable component. Compared with an indexable drill, the cutting element is a replaceable head rather than individual inserts.

01 / DRILL BODY

WVT Drill Bodies

Choose the body around required hole depth, machine connection and coolant setup. Confirm the available size and reach in the current catalog.

02 / DRILL HEAD

WVT Drill Heads

Choose the cutting head around hole diameter, workpiece material and hole form. Confirm geometry, grade and body fit before ordering.

03 / SELECTION WORKFLOW

How to Select a WVT Drill

Work from the hole and material to a confirmed body and head. Share these details with Winvera for a precise recommendation.

01

Hole diameter

State the finished hole diameter and tolerance.

02

Drilling depth

State the required hole depth in millimetres or as a depth-to-diameter ratio.

03

Workpiece material

Name the material and grade, such as ISO P — Steel, if known.

04

Select drill body

Check the body size, reach, machine connection and coolant setup.

05

Select drill head

Confirm the head diameter, geometry and carbide grade.

06

Verify the pair

Check the body-to-head interface and application with the current catalog.

WVT Specifications

Series-level specifications appear here when the approved WVT catalog is available. Individual body and head dimensions depend on the selected combination.

Confirm the current configuration

Send your required hole diameter, depth, workpiece material and machine connection. Winvera can confirm available WVT bodies, heads and matched combinations from the current catalog.

05 / APPLICATION FIT

Match the Tool to the Hole

Hole diameter and depth are only the starting point. Workpiece material, hole form, machine connection and coolant setup shape the body and head selection. If you have a drawing, include it with your enquiry so Winvera can review the full requirement.

WVT Modular Drilling Questions

Need help with a specific hole? Send the diameter, depth and material with your enquiry.

WVT is Winvera’s replaceable-head modular drill family. It combines a reusable drill body with a separate carbide cutting head. Confirm the body and head match before ordering.

The system is designed around a replaceable cutting head and a reusable body. The exact replacement head must be confirmed for the selected body and hole requirement.

Start with hole diameter, drilling depth, machine connection and coolant setup. Winvera can confirm the appropriate body using the current catalog.

Provide the workpiece material, hole form and cutting conditions. Select the geometry and grade only after checking the current WVT catalog and its body compatibility information.

Availability depends on the exact body and head combination. Send your required diameter and hole depth to Winvera for a current, confirmed selection.
