WVT
A replaceable-head crown-drill system built around a reusable drill body and separate carbide heads.
- Main application
- Replaceable-head modular drilling
Build a drilling setup around a reusable drill body and a replaceable carbide head. Explore Winvera’s modular drill series, compare confirmed diameter and depth options, and choose the right system for your hole and workpiece material.
Selected systems use internal coolant to support drilling at different depths. Body, head and coolant details vary by series and should be confirmed from the product catalog.
A modular drill has a reusable drill body and a replaceable carbide cutting head. The body provides the shank, length and head connection; the head provides the cutting edges. Parts must be matched within a verified system.
A solid carbide drill has an integral cutting portion and body. An indexable drill uses mechanically clamped inserts as cutting elements. A replaceable-head modular drill uses a removable head at the front of a reusable body. These are different tool structures, each requiring its own selection data.

Confirmed diameter ranges appear on a shared millimetre scale so you can compare the series at a glance.
Verified series ranges will appear here after the product catalog is imported. Share your required diameter and we can confirm a suitable system.
Ask about diameter availability ↗Depth options appear by series only after the available ratios have been confirmed.
Confirmed depth options will appear here after catalog review. Send the hole depth in millimetres or as a depth-to-diameter ratio for help selecting a body.
Ask about depth availability ↗Work from the hole requirement to the matched body and head. Confirm technical combinations against the current catalog or with Winvera.
Start with the required finished hole diameter and its tolerance.
State the hole depth in millimetres or as a multiple of diameter (×D).
Name the material and grade, such as ISO P — Steel, if known.
Compare the confirmed diameter, depth, coolant and application data.
Choose the body length and connection for the application after checking the series catalog.
Match the head geometry and carbide grade to the material and hole requirement using confirmed catalog compatibility.
Start with the reusable body and replaceable head. Both entrances currently open the published WVT series page until dedicated component pages are available.
Need a recommendation for a specific hole? Send the diameter, depth and material with your enquiry.
Talk to Winvera ↗A modular drill uses a reusable drill body with a separate cutting head. The head can be replaced while the body remains in service, subject to the system’s matching interface.
It is a drill whose cutting head can be removed and replaced separately from the body. Winvera’s modular drill families use this system approach.
Start with the hole diameter, drilling depth and workpiece material. Then compare the series’ verified ranges and choose a matching body and head from the catalog. Winvera can confirm the combination for your application.
Check the required depth, diameter, machine connection and coolant setup. Confirm that the body belongs to the selected series and is compatible with the intended head before ordering.
Choose the geometry and grade for the workpiece material, hole form and cutting conditions, then confirm the head’s size and interface against the chosen body. Request application advice when the catalog does not state a match.
Depth options depend on the series and body. The category chart will show only verified ratios once the approved product catalog is loaded. Contact Winvera with the required hole diameter and depth for a current recommendation.
Share the hole diameter, depth, workpiece material and drawing if available. Winvera can help identify a suitable modular drilling system and provide a quote.
